Female school teacher robbed

RAJSHAHI: Miscreants snatched Tk 10,000 and gold ornaments from a female schoolteacher at Dighakandi village in Puthia upazila on Tuesday, reports BSS. According the victim’s brother, the miscreants, numbering three, intercepted her at a field in the village as she was returning home after completing the procedures for her admission in the Masters course in Rajshahi College on Tuesday evening. Later, the miscreants took away Tk 10,000, gold ornaments from her. The victim could identify two of the miscreants as Abbas, 42, and Parvez, 19. Puthia Police Station officer-in-charge (Investigation) Hafizur Rahman said they have already arrested one of them in this connection.
