Two killed in road crash

FENI: Two people were killed as a truck fell into roadside ditch in Pole area on the Dagonbhuiyan-Basurhat road under Dagonbhuiyan upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS.
The deceased were truck driver Mamunur Rashid, of Debipur and sand trader Nurnabi, resident of Udrajpur of the upazila.
Police said the accident occurred at about 11 am when the truck fell into roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
