Two farmers electrocuted

SHERPUR: Two farmers were electrocuted at Dudhnoi village under Jhenaigati upazila of the district on Wednesday morning, reports BSS. The deceased were Abdul Khalek, son of late Insan Ali and Taleb Ali, son of Jhunu Sheikh, residents of the same area. Officer-in-charge of Jhenaigati Thana Mizanur Rahman said they were electrocuted on their land when a live electric wire fell on them at about 9 am. At that time they were tilling their land. Both of them died on the spot.
