Anti terrorism and militancy committee formed in Khulna

KHULNA: A 101 members anti- terrorism and militancy committee was formed in Khulna yesterday, reports BSS.
Khulna City and District Unit 14-Party announced the committee at a press conference held at the journalist Humayun Kabir Balu Lounge of Khulna Press Club.
Lawmaker of Khulna-2 constituency and coordinator of City Unit 14-party Mizanur Rahman Mizan and General Secretary of City Unit JSD Khalid Hossain have
been made president and general secretary of the committee.
Ex-State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnuzan Sufian, Ex-Mayor and President of City Unit Awami League Talukder Abdul Khaleque,MP, Administrator of Khulna Zila Parisad and District Unit AL President Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid and General Secretary S M Mostofa Rashidi, MP, also have been made its members.
President and General Secretary of City and District Unit 14-party alliance, Khulna Press Club, Khulna Union of Journalists (KUJ), President and all Directors of Khulna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and others socio-cultural and professional bodies have also been made members of the committee.
Mizan, also General Secretary of City Unit AL, announced the committee at the conference while 14-party and other citizen leaders, among others, were present.
The committee also would extend its member if necessary, he said.
