Human, trafficker held, two rescued

Jhikorgacha police arrested a member of international women and child trafficking gang and rescued two young girls from Jhikorgacha bus stand on Wednesday. The arrested woman has been identified as Hosne Ara alis Parveen, 28, of Nagoresaiani village in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail district.  The rescued girls are Shawpna alias Sultana, 14, daughter of Kyemuddin of Kaliakoir village in Gazipur district and Alpona Das, 25, of Chotobasila village in sadar upazila of Tangail.  The police said acting on a tip-off a contingent of police, led by SI Monir Hossain, raided Jhikorgacha bus stand at about 8 am and arrested child trafficker Hosne Ara and rescued the two girls from there.
