Test train on Yunnan HSR registered speeds of 330kph

After several days of integration tests and commissioning, a comprehensive test train reached a speed of 330 kilometres per hour at K2222+666 on the Yunnan section of the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway(HSR). This marks a record high speed on Yunnan's railway tracks.

According to an engineer on the test train, the highest test speed of 330 kilometres will not be the actual operating speed but was simply to test the overall performance of equipment and facilities. The problems detected during the inspection will be completely eliminated to ensure safe and stable operation.
