GM Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh Navy maintaining his all win record in the Prime Bank 19th International Rating Chess Tournament-2016, organised by Leonine Chess Club. The highest rated Bangladeshi player collected full seven points at the end of the seventh round at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room on Tuesday.
Since the inception of this tournament he took a solo lead. Four players shared the second spot with six points. They are: CM Sohel Chowdhury of Sheikh Russel Memorial Sporting Club, S. M. Sharon and Md. Sharif Hossain of Bangladesh Navy and Gias Uddin Mithu of Agrani Bank Limited Daba Dal are sharing 2nd position with six points each.
IM Abu Sufian Shakil, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman Emon and Shafiq Ahmed are sharing 3rd position with 5.5 points each.
