Shubho Mahurat of ‘Ami Shudhu Tor Habo’ held

A new film titled ‘Ami Shudhu Tor Habo’ starring National Film Award winning actress Zakia Bari Momo and popular actor Nirab Hossain is currently underway. With the well-wishes from the country’s prominent directors and producers, the film has started its formal journey on Tuesday.
The film will be directed by young director Rafique Sikder, who also wrote the story and screenplay of the film.
DhakaLive has news that the shubho mahurat of the film was held on Tuesday at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) premises in the capital’s Tejgaon area. Besides the cast and crew of the film, secretary general of Bangladesh Film Directors Association Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, Vice-president Sohanur Rahman Sohan, film producer Khorshed Alam Khasru, Pran RFL head of marketing Arafatur Rahman, head of media Sujan Mahmud on behalf of the film’s sponsor company and others were present at the programme.
Alongside Momo and Nirab, Kolkata’s actor Jass Sarkar, newbie Faria, Shimul Khan and others will act in the different characters of the film.
Nirob said about the film, “I have experience of working with Rafiq Sikdar earlier. This time, I am going to work again in his new film. I hope that this film will also be a successful venture like ‘Bhola To Jay Na Tare’.”
“I am going to pair up with Momo on the big screen for the first time. She is a good friend of mine. I think the audience expect a good work from this pair. Momo and I will try to fulfil that expectation”, he added.
Momo said, “The story of the film is outstanding. Many of my well-wishers asked me about why I am not regular in film after the success of my film ‘Chhuye Dile Mon’. Actually, I was waiting for a good story and character. After reading the screenplay of this film, I felt I was waiting for this type of story and character. So, I have agreed happily to work in the film.”
Produced by Abdul Majid Milton, the making of the film will start in the beginning of next month and will film at different palces of the country . The music arrangement of the film will be done by Arfin Rumey, Ahmed Humayun, Belal Khan and Tanvir Tareq.
