Bar Council bans 3 lawyers for professional misconduct

Bangladesh Bar Council yesterday took punitive actions against three of its members for professional misconducts.
Of the three, advocate Abul Hasnat, a member of Dhaka Bar Council, has been banned from practicing for life. Advocates Shahjalal Chowdhury and Tobaraka Hossain have been banned for three years.
A three-member Bar Council Tribunal led by Md Yahia came up with the decision as it found evidences of gross professional misconducts against the three advocates.
Now, the three lawyers could file appeal with the High Court against the Bar Council Tribunal decision.
