Lima Akhter, 19, daughter Muslem Hawladar, a garments worker allegedly killed herself hanging from ceiling on Friday as her husband Bipul Mia, son of Ashraf Ali, 21 died of disease.
They both were workers of a readymade garments factory named Well Fashion of Chittagong Kalurgaht Industrial area. They tied their knot just three months ago.
Bipul hailed from Gaibandha while Lima from Potuakhali district, their families were living in Chittagong for long time..
The newly married couple was living at a rented house of Badsha Mia colony and Shamser para under Chandagoan police station for two months.
On Friday Bipul died of low pressure. As the death of beloved could not tolerated by Lima she killed herself hanging from ceiling by her scarf, said local sources and police sources.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the duo. The bodies were recovered and sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
A case of unnatural death was filed with the police station, said the OC.
