Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu yesterday called upon the physicians to find out causes of people's lack of confidence in country's medical services and take effective steps to resolve those, reports BSS.
He made the call speaking as chief guest at a reunion organised by Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Alumni Trust at DMC auditorium in the capital marking the 71st founding anniversary of the college.
Presided over by DMC Alumni Trust Chairman Dr M Shafiqur Rahman, the function was also addressed by Prime Minister's former adviser on health and family welfare Prof. Syed Modasser Ali, former MP and Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad former Secretary General Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Secretary General M Iqbal Arsalan, DMC Director Brig Dr Mizanur Rahman and DMC Principal Prof. M Ismail Khan.
