Himadri murder case verdict July 28

Date has been fixed on July 28 to be announced verdict of sensational murder Himadri Majumdar Himo who was brutally killed after pushing off the roof of a four-storied building in Panchlaish Residential Area on April 27, 2012 by his friends.
The court of the fourth Chittagong additional session judge, Nurul Islam Manik yesterday (Saturday)   fixed the date July 28 for verdict of the case as presenting arguments by defendants and plaintiff have been completed.
 “Presenting all the arguments before the court by plaintiff and defendants have completed. The court fixed next July 28 for the verdict of the case,” said Anupam Chakrabarty, additional Chittagong Metropolitan public prosecutor (PP).
 “The court also sent to jail Shah Selim Tipu and, Shahadat Hossain who were on bail,” added Anupam.
Among the five accused in the case Mahbub Ali Danny now behind the bars while Junayed Ahmed Riyad is absconding after securing bail and, Jahidul Islam Shaon is fleeing from the beginning of the case.
Due to protest drug peddling at Panchlish area Himu, 18-years and a A-Level student of Summerfield School and College was pushed off the roof of ‘Farhad Mansion’ -a four-storied building in Panchlaish Residential Area on April 27, 2012 by his friends after being tortured by ferocious Doberman dogs.
He was admitted to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries on May 23, 2012, 26 days after he was assaulted.
Over the incident, victim’s maternal uncle filed a case with Panchlish Police Station accusing five people; the five accused are Shah Selim Tipu and his son Junayed Ahmed Riyad, Jahidul Islam Shaon, Shahadat Hossain and Mahbub Ali Danny.
