HSBC appoints new head of retail banking

Faizur Rahman has been appointed as Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) in Bangladesh, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
Faizur joined HSBC Bangladesh in 2000 and has held various positions across information technology and retail banking and wealth management, the statement added.
 Francois de Maricourt, chief executive officer of HSBC Bangladesh, comments, “This appointment is a  recognition of Faizur's performance, contribution and potential to improving our customers' experience and balance sheet management in Bangladesh."
