Boy killed in tea stall fire

A minor boy was killed and three people received burn injuries in a fire that broke out at Musapur Baghtara of Companyganj upazila in Noakhali yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Sayem, 8. Further details about the deceased could not be known.
Syed Md Fazle Rabbi, officer-in-charge of Companyganj Police Station, said the fire originated from an auto gas stove in a tea stall in the area at noon.
Later, the fire engulfed the entire stall which left four people, including the tea stall owner, injured.
The injured were taken to Noakhali General Hospital where Sayem succumbed to his injuries around 7pm.
The three other injured are tea shop owner Mamun, 28, Zisan, 10, and Safayet, 14.
