100 kg hemp recovered

CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Members of Narcotics Control Department recovered 100 kilograms of hemp from Komlakantapur Ghatpara area under Shibganj upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS. Assistant Director of Chapainawabganj Narcotics Control Department Alamgir Hossain said a team of the department raided the area yesterday morning and seized a jeep. After searching the vehicle the narcotics control officials found five bags of hemp worth Tk15 lakh. The jeep was seized and a case was filed with Shibganj police station in this connection.
