Ulto Rath Yatra celebrated

People of Hindu community celebrated Ulto Rath Yatra (Jatra) Utsav (festival yesterday afternoon. They also brought out a procession marking the day.
The devotees on this occasion drew the rope of chariot of Lord Krishna and distributed Prasad (the food offering to a deity) to return the chariot at its home.
Antorjatik Krishna Vabonamrita Sangho (International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON)) organised the programme that started from Amritangon at Natun Bazar Moth of the city and ended at Shangkar Math ISKON mandir area after passing city roads. Participants of the programme attended a discussion on life and works of Lord Krishnaat Dharmarakkhini Shava and Shangkar Math in the evening.
BSS adds from Chittagong: The Ulta Rathayatra Utsab concluded in Chittagong with deep enthusiasm and returned after seven day at ISKCON Mondir of Probatok Sanga from Nandankhanon after proper religious formalities. The Rathayatra of Sri Sri Lord Jagannat (other name of Lord Krishno) began from ISKON temple of Probottak Crossing on July 8 last and returned yesterday at the same temple. International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) organized the seven day-long function.
