Tk 3.5 lakh looted

GAZIPUR: Muggers looted Tk3.5 lakh after shooting an agent of money transfer service provider bKash at Kathaltala in Gazipur city on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Locals said Selim Hossain Munshi, 32, a bKash agent and son of Mohiuddin Munshi, hailing from Bakerganj upazila of Barisal district, was collecting money from different bKash points in the afternoon.
When Selim reached Kathaltala, a gang of miscreants on two motorcycles intercepted him and tried to snatch away the bag containing money. At one stage, the muggers shot him and fled the scene with the bag, leaving him critically injured. Later he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
