The Cabinet Division has asked different institutions providing utility services to use anti-corruption slogan and seal in their bills in a bid to strengthen the fight against corruption, reports UNB.
It ordered Wasa, Decso, Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, Bangladesh telecommunication companies, Titas Gas and other companies, to use anti-graft slogan and seal in their utility bills, said a handout yesterday.
The Cabinet division also asked the authorities concerned to take steps for using the same seal and slogan in different government stamps, and in the holding tax receipts of city corporations and municipalities. In its order, the division said this initiative will reinforce the corruption prevention activities. “It will also help raise mass awareness and create an anti-graft attitude among people.”
