Nattya Teertha stages ‘Dwip’ at Shilpakala today

Theatre Troupe Nattya Teertha will stage the 74th show of its much-acclaimed production titled ‘Dwip’ today at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Segun Bagicha in the city.
Scripted by Utpal Dutta and directed by Tapon Hafiz, the play is about lack of human faith and ideology, and its serious consequences. The play depicts a theme that, a man with his intelligence can deceive others, but he will be responsible to his own conscience. Thus, the man who has lost his principles is gradually hit by his conscience.
The probable casts of the play includes director Tapon Hafiz, Sadia Islam Shanta, Shamsur Rahman, Mahmudur Rahman Aminul Shuvo and Maruf Tomal among others. Thandu Raihan designed lights for the play, while Foyez Zahir designed the stage.
