Mohammad Amir’s much awaited comeback to Test cricket has drew varied reactions. There is a section which has backed Amir, while there have been some who have disapproved of his return reports CricketCountry. Joining the long list of players and critics to give their opinion on this matter is Sachin Tendulkar, who believes the left-arm pacer has served his sentence for his mistake and can produce something special on his return. Amir was charged of spot-fixing during Pakistan’s fourth Test against England at Lord’s in 2010.
After he was convicted of the charges, ICC handed the then 18-year-old a 5-year ban from international cricket. He is set to make his Test return against the same team [England] at the very same venue [Lord's] where he committed the crime.
