Three killed in road crash

Comilla: Three people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on Comilla-Noakhali road at East Batabaria in Mono­harganj upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Ibrahim Khalil, duty officer of Laksham highway police, said the accident took place at around 3:45 pm when the Noakhali-bound bus from Comilla collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction, leaving three passengers of the bus dead on the spot and 10 others injured.
The injured were rushed to Comilla Medical College Hospital.
