1 held on charge of suspicious activities

KHULNA: A youth was arrested from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology KUET) premises Tuesday night on charge of suspicious activities, reports BSS.
The arrested was identified as Md Aroz Ali, 25, son of late Md Abdul Mannan,hailed from Dhalgram village of Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia. Sub-Inspector Razzak of Khanjahan Ali Police Station said security guard of KUET detained the youth at around 9.30pm on Tuesday while he was loitering suspiciously at KUET campus. He was handed over to police Tuesday night. Aroz Ali confessed to Police that he has appeared the final year examination from Social Welfare Department from Kushtia Government college and introduced himself as the vice-president of Islami Shashontantra Andolon of Kushtia district unit.
