Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), the regulatory body for all civil aviation related undertakings in Bangladesh, signed an agreement with Southtech Limited for the “Implementation of ICT and e-governance including networking, automation and computerization of CAAB on Turnkey basis”, says a press release.
Md A Hamid Zamadder, director, central engineering maintenance and stores unit (CEMSU) of CAAB and Syed Mamnun Quader, managing director and chief executive officer of Southtech Limited, signed the agreement recently in a ceremony held at CAAB Headquarters in the capital’s Kurmitola. A joint venture consortium, led by Southtech Limited, a renowned IT software company in the country, won this competitive bid to implement the project, said a press release.
