The Ministry of Information yesterday issued a circular asking all concerned to make sure that the transmission of Peace TV is stopped as per the cabinet’s decision, reports UNB.
Senior Assistant Secretary of the Information Ministry Akhtaruzzaman said that the cabinet decision has gone into effect through the circular.
Earlier on Sunday, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu told reporters at the Secretariat about the decision to stop the transmission of Peace TV after a special meeting of the cabinet committee on law and order.
