BCB prepares different age group teams

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has chalked out the training plan for the age-level cricketers including Under-19, Under-18, Under-17 and Under-15 like the national team.
The training programme for all the age-group cricket is likely to be commenced from August.
BCB Game Development meanwhile sorted out a string of potential players through different tournaments to form the respective age-group teams.
Recently they organised Prime Bank Young Tigers National School Cricket Tournament, from where they will form the next contingent of Under-15.  Former fast bowler Dipu Roy Chowdhury will supervise and nurture to make them for the future cricketers.
In the first quarter of the 2016, Bangladesh Under-15 Cricket Team led by Dipu Roy Chowdhury had toured Kolkata to play a string of games against Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) at different grounds in West Bengal.
The young Tigers will also make another tour in India at the fag’s end of the current year. So, they will start their practice to prepare themselves for the next tour.
In the same way, Bangladesh Under-17 cricket team will also be formed. The board will host tournament for them. So, they will also kick off their training under the practice camp.
Last year the team had also played a home series against West Bengal’s CAB at home yard. This year they will play away series with Indian side. So, they will also start their practice.
  Bangladesh Under-18 team will be formed newly with the help of the previous players of the Bangladesh U-17 Cricket Team. The board has hosted a challenge series with the participation of U-17 and U-18 players at Khulna, where they also played some matches at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium.
For Bangladesh U-19 Cricket Team, selector of the Bangladesh age-level cricket has already selected 24 more players from the challenge series. Bangladesh will start their next campaign of U-19.
In this regard, AEM Kawsar, senior deputy manager of the BCB Game Development, said that they will soon start the training programme for all the age-level cricket team.
“We have finished the formation of the team after being selected the potential players though different tournaments. We’ve worked out a plan for their training camp. Hopefully we could start these in the first week of August,” said Kawsar.
