Pakistani killed in Ctg road accident

CHITTAGONG: A Pakistani national was killed and three others were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Darogahat area under Sitakunda upazila of the district on Sunday night, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Jahir Hasan Khan, 53, General Manager of Sunman Textile Group while the identity of the injured could not be known immediately.
Highway police sources said the accident occurred when a Chittagong-bound private car carrying the victims dashed a roadside tree after its driver lost control over the steering because of rain around 11 pm last night. Jahir died on the spot while three others including the driver and another Pakistani national were injured in the accident. The injured were officials of the textile group, police said, adding that they were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
