Five-day art exhibition begins Friday

A five-day art exhibition and competition will begin from July 15 at Dhanmondi Drik Gallery in the capital marking the 18th founding anniversary of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry, reports BSS.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu will inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest at 4.30pm, said a press release in the capital yesterday.
The exhibition will remain open from 3pm to 8pm. Initially, 100 paintings have been selected from the 70 contestants and the three best paintings will be awarded. Marking the founding anniversary, the Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry has taken others programmes, including a special discussion at International Mother Language Institute auditorium on July 16.
