Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) named a 32-man preliminary squad for their upcoming two preparation matches with Nepal for the Asian Cup play offs against Bhutan while the camp will start from July 12.
Bangladesh, who woefully eliminated from the pre-qualifying stage with humiliating defeat at the hands of Tajikistan at home and away, still have one last chance to move into the qualifying phase of the Asian Cup with playing two playoffs against Bhutan.
The matches against Bhutan are scheduled to play on September 6 in Dhaka and October 11 in Bhutan.
BFF, who has already appointed Belgian coach Tom Saintfiet for these two matches and he will arrive here at early morning on June 12. He will start the camp from at the evening.
Tom, who came here June 24 and watched three matches of the Walton Federation Cup, selected the players for the preliminary squad with the help of his deputy Saiful Bari Titu.
Besides the veteran playmaker of Abahani Limited Pranotosh and newly called youngsters Jafar Iqbal and Abdullah, there are nothing surprised calls.
