The assaault which took place at Dhaka on 1st July 2016, has twisted a snivel of ignominy all over the world. The impulsive assault in a Spanish restaurant at a Posh area which is also known as the diplomatic zone of the country was unprecedented and not at all called for. In a country where the security of foreigners on highly attentive after the attacks on foreigners from last year, this kind of attacks are detrimental. When Bangladesh is evolving economically strong every year, the religious fundamentalism is also burgeoning from last 2-3 years to camber the enlargement. The recent attacks on the bloggers, atheists, LGBT activists and the minorities have already captured the attention of the world media and highly criticized.
The Bangladeshi government has always denied the correlation of ISIS with these attacks and liable the home grown religious extremists. But with the attack at Dhaka, it can be assumed that the home grown terrorists are operating with the affiliation of the ISIS. As the Prime minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has stated that “The terrorists belong to no religion and terrorism is the only religion to the terrorists”. The attackers who chipped in the Killing at Dhaka are from well to do families and are well erudite. If youngsters like them are predisposed to these kind of religious radicalism and hostility, the corollary for the country and for the whole world will be at wager.
The approach of the people are full-fledged from their environs and it shapes the mental health of the person. If we dampen these kind of belligerent activities from the beginning, it is unfeasible for this curse to sustain. Remaining silent on these issues will be encouraging them and almost like being a part of them. It is our duty as an alarmed inhabitant of the world to edify and persuade our children to be part of the betterment of the social order and stay away from any detrimental activities towards mankind irrespective of their religion, race, caste and class. If we grow a practice of humanity in the heart of the child today, that will be the weapon for us to scrap all the odds of tomorrow. This is at least we can do as a common and troubled citizens of the country. These kinds of attacks do not only create hatred for the culprits and their families but also ruins the reputation of the nation all over the world. We have to remember the terrorists are brainwashed by some unknown personnel, who are sacrilegious and insane, they bring only curse for the mankind. The kind of callous activities they have prepared in Dhaka, is also episode in the western countries, middle Eastern countries and so many other countries in the name of Islamic extremism. But Islam never supports these kinds of terrorism activities and killing of unarmed and innocent people. Example of these kinds of brutal carnage dooms the humanity. I insist on my friends, relatives and readers to discourage militancy and promote build a secular nation and moreover a world where we can live serenely.
The way the Bangladesh Army, Police and other armed forces have handled the situation and rescued the hostages was incredible and professional. The police officers who put gallant efforts and sacrificed their lives the nation will not forget their valor and vow towards the country. The innocent victims whose lives have been taken wrongfully, will be known as martyrs as they have faced the savages with guts and solitude. Bangladesh is observing two days of national mourns to commemorate the forgo of the deceased souls. It’s my paramount request to all the people of the country and the world, to daunt militants who have chosen the path of religious fanaticism.
