Gulshan attack videos go viral

Five videos of commando operation at Gulshan’s Holey Artisan Bakery, posted by a South Korean man on his Facebook timeline went viral on social sites. He shared the videos on Facebook between 7:26am and 8:18am on Saturday. ‘Operation Thunderbolt’ began around 7:40am Saturday and ended at 8:30am. The videos were taken from a window of a house close to Holey Artisan Bakery. The publisher in his profile said he hailed from Seoul of South Korea and lives in Los Angeles, US.  However, the videos were not found on his FB timeline yesterday afternoon but those were shared by others and were available on You Tube.
At 7:46 am, he posted a video before the army armored vehicles entering the restaurant.
Some people including women and children were seen leaving Holey Artisan Bakery in that video.
In another video before the commando operation, some hostages were seen guarded by an armed militant.
Last three of the videos showed the operation against militants to free the hostages.
Commando units from the Bangladesh Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Guards, Police, Rapid Action Battalion, and joint forces started the rescue operation at 7:40 am.
Six attackers were killed in the gun battle with thecommandos.
Before the operation, the hostage-takers slaughtered 20 hostages on Friday night. Two police officers – DB assistant commissioner Rabiul Islam and Banani OC Salahuddin – were also killed and several others injured.
