Driver killed in Habiganj road crash

HABIGANJ: A truck driver was killed and three others were injured in a road accident at Sadarghat Natunbazar on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway under Nabiganj upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS.
The deceased was Azizul Islam, son of Abdul Kuddus of Companiganj upazila in Noakhali district.
Police said the accident occurred when a rock-laden truck collided head-on with another truck in the area at about 7 am, leaving truck driver Azizul dead on the spot and three others injured.
The injured were sent to local hospital.
