UGC chief for nat�l academy for university teachers

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Abdul Mannan said sufficient number of national academy for university teachers needs to be established for their professional development.
Prof Mannan came up with the views while speaking as the chief guest at a certificate awarding ceremony of the 15th foundation training for university teachers at UGC auditorium. Mozahar Ali, director of Graduate Training Institute of Bangladesh Agricultural University, delivered the welcome speech on the occasion.
Twenty-five young teachers of different public universities of the country took part in the course financed by UGC and conducted by Graduate Training Institute in its own campus.
