Listed criminal sent to jail

RANGPUR: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a listed criminal with a one shooter pistol, one round live bullet and three mobile phone sets here on Tuesday afternoon, RAB and police sources said, reports BSS.
The Crime Prevention Special Company (CPSC) at Rangpur Camp of RAB-13 led by its Additional Police Super Mohammad Nazrul Islam and Assistant Director Ali Reza Rabbi conducted a sudden raid in Pirjabad area of the city.
The elite force arrested listed criminal Moksedul Islam, 26, son of Azizul Islam of village Purbo Pirjabad Dangirpara under Kotwali Thana red-handed with the arms and ammunition from the spot.
After filing a case in this connection, the elite force handed over the arrestee to Rangpur Kotwali Thana police.
"Kotwali Thana police produced the him before a Rangpur court from where he was sent to jail.
