Obscure, one of the most prominent Rock bands in the country, released its 11th album titled ‘Crack Platoon’ under the label Soundtek yesterday. The album contains eight songs—‘Crack Platoon’, ‘Ochinpure’, ‘Paroana’, ‘Jhum Brishti’, ‘Ami Thaki Koi’, ‘Tomakei Valobashi’, ‘Aakash Keno Kade’ and ‘Maa’, which have been written by Amit Goswami, Mostafa Mamun, Tanzil Rahman, Abu Milton Hasan and Tipu. Among those, two songs are dedicated to the Guerrilla Freedom Fighter of Liberation War of Bangladesh, and the rest are shaped after Obscure's familiar style. Band vocalist Tipu said about the title of the album, "We have tried to pay homage to the members of the guerilla group Crack Platoon through this album. That's why the named the album as Crack Platoon." Crack Platoon is the guerilla group formed by Khaled Mosharrof and two other commanders of the Mukti Bahini during the Liberation War. Formed in Khulna in 1985, Obscure released as many as eleven albums till now– The band line up includes Tipu on vocal, Shanto on guitar, Rubayet on guitar, Shawon on keyboard, Raajue on bass, and Rinku on drums. From now on the album is available in market and as well as in GP music.
