BADC procures 1,994 tonnes of Boro seed in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR: Contract Growers Office, a wing of Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC), has procured 1,994 tonnes of boro seed against the target of 2,673 tonnes till yesterday, reports BSS. Of the total procurement target of boro seed which 1,561 tonnes are Certified seed and 1,112 tonnes Truthfully level seed. The seeds are BR-14 variety 57 tonnes, BR- 26 variety 66 tonnes, BRRI-28 variety 1421 tonnes and BRRI-29 variety 1129 tonnes. The procurement price of per kilogram seed of BR-14 and BRRI-29 Tk 31.50 and BR-26 and BRRI-28 Tk 32.50 respectively.
