Bangladesh Railway (BR) will run seven pairs of special trains to carry homebound passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, reports BSS. These special trains will ply from July 3 to 5 and July 8 to 14 on different routes, the BR sources said. The BR has taken all necessary preparation for smooth and safe movement of passengers during the Eid-ul-fitr, the sources said. Besides, a pair of new trains named ‘Sonar Bangla’ will be introduced on Dhaka-Chittagong-Dhaka route before the Eid. On the Eid day, two pairs of Solakia special train will ply on Bhoirab-Kishoreganj-Bhoirab and Mymensingh-Kishoreganj-Mymensingh routes.
Sources said the Dewanganj Special will ply on Dhaka-Dewanganj-Dhaka route from July 3 to 5 before the Eid and from July 8 to 14 after the Eid.
