The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday night arrested an employee of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) in a case filed for allocating 138 shops of 10 supermarkets illegally, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Ali, land officer (Kanungo) of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
Deputy Director of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Mahbub Alam arrested Ali from Shamoli in the city, said Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case against Ali in May, 2016 for illegally allocating 138 shops of 10 supermarkets.
Ali was wanted in several graft cases, including one for acquiring illegal wealth, Pranab added.
