Yaba menace

Sir,
Most dailies on June 22 reported about policemen pocketing the 'Yaba' trade in Bangladesh. From catching the criminals; cops have now been addicted to the Yaba business. This is the fact of life that seems to be has been going on for some time.
After all as reported, we cannot deny that Yaba dealing, leads to "yields astonishing bank accounts' where lacs of taka seem to be chicken feed. After all the acronym 'cops' can represent 'corner overall profit sources'. That is what 'cunning' cops are good at doing: 'making hay while the sun shines'. Now they got to look for another 'sun'.
Late 'poor' Cox’s soul, must be turning in his grave in agony. Little did he dream, that the sea shore 'Bazzar, with easy access to sailing boats; has turned into a busy 'land port' for trading and dealing in 'Yaba'. Hopefully, RAB has not still been 'roped-in amidst big-bucks'; an acronym of RAB. It is another sad story (rather reality) that has taken Bangladesh down the dirty toad to drug addiction. Back in our younger days; sneaking a puff of cigarette from an indulgent 'mama' was all that we could have.
For this writer that too was a sad experience, given his lust for 'ice-cream and chocolate' in school days long, long ago; that still persists; though onset of diabetes has trimmed it down to the 'sugar-free' variety.
