Killers are SQ Chy’s cadres: Hasan Mahmud

Awami League Publicity And Publications Affairs Secretary Hasan Mahmud has claimed that those who are currently under arrested for the murder of Police Superintendent (SP) Babul Akter's wife Mahmuda Akter Mitu are cadres of late BNP leader and war criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury. Hasan Mahmud, also a lawmaker of Chittagong-7 constituency, alleged that the three arrestees of Mitu murder are BNP cadres who were also involved in the killing of Chittagong Chhatra League leader Rashed Mia in 2012.  The AL leader came up with the remark while addressing a discussion organized by Bangabandhu Academy at the National Press Club in the capital yesterday.
About the recent statement of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on the spread of militancy, Hasan Mahmud said she is spreading lies over the issue everyday and constantly blaming the AL and the present government for the recent militant attacks in the country, which is very unfortunate.
