Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will enhance their activities towards business development of BASIS members in Japanese market, says a press release.
The initiatives will include organising more business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Japanese and Bangladeshi investors and seminars for them.
The decision was taken yesterday at a meeting between JETRO and BASIS delegations held in the capital.
BASIS president Shameem Ahsan led his team to the meeting when the JETRO delegation was led by Kei Kawano, Country Representative of JETRO, Dhaka.
The meeting was also attended by Russell T Ahmed, senior vice president of BASIS; Uttam Kumar Paul, Secretary General of BASIS; Liton C Sarker, Director of JETRO Dhaka and S.M. Shariful Alam, Manager of JETRO Dhaka.
