Four �human traffickers� held

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police arrested four alleged human traffickers along with 850 passports, 40 fake certificates of seaman and huge fake visas from a recruiting agency in the city’s Motijheel area early Monday, reports UNB.
During the drive at the recruiting agency on the 7th floor of Shapla
Bhaban, they also rescued four people who were supposed to be trafficked abroad. The arrestees were identified as Maidul Islam, 45, Himmat Ali, 38,
Rasel, 25 and Uzzal, 20, while the rescued victims are Ashraful Islam, 35, Mohammad Ali, 35, Abul Kalam Azad, 28, and Saiful Islam, 35.
Tipped off, a CID team conducted a drive at the recruiting agency in the early hours of Monday, said CID special super Abdul Kahar Akand on Tuesday.
During the drive, the CID team arrested four suspected human traffickers and recovered 850 passports, 40 fake certificates of seaman and huge fake visas.
A case was filed with Motijheel Police Station in this connection.
