Dinajpur High School of Rangpur Davison will lock horns with Tangail School and College of Dhaka Division in the national round final of the Prime Bank Young Tigers National School Cricket Tournament at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today.
The 50-over affair will start at 9:00am.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) vice president Mahbubul Anam will distribute prizes as the chief guest. Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, managing director of the Prime Bank Limited, to be present as the special guest on the occasion.
The district round of the competition had been begun with the participation of the 540 schools from seven divisions and Dhaka Metro. Of them, the highest number of 124 schools took part in Dhaka Division and the lowest number of 32 schools participated in Dhaka Metro.
A total of 68 schools each played from Rajshahi and Rangpur Divisions, whilst 80 schools were in Khulna Division and 88 in Citation. Around 44 and 36 schools took part in Barisal and Sylhet Division respectively.
