President Abdul Hamid has urged the Danish entrepreneurs to invest in various potential sectors, including energy, shipbuilding and ICT, in Bangladesh for mutual benefits of the two countries.
The president made the call when Danish Ambassador to Bangladesh Hanne Fugl Eskjaer paid a farewell call on him at Bangabhaban here yesterday afternoon, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
During the meeting, Abdul Hamid expressed satisfaction as the envoy successfully completed her assignment in Bangladesh and said during her tenure the bilateral relations between the two countries have been extended significantly.
Mentioning that Bangladesh diplomatic mission in Copenhagen started functioning in June 2015, Hanne Fugl Eskjaer said it will play an important role to develop relations between Denmark and Bangladesh.
