590 bottles of phensidyl seized

Police of Bangabandhu East Police Station in a drive seized 590 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl and arrested two drug traders yesterday morning.
The arrestees are identified as Sumon, 20, son of Abdul Jalil of village Jharaborsha of Gaibandha district and Sohel Rana, 22, son of Rahim Ali of Kansat Kolabari under Chapainawabganj district.
During the drive, police team stopped a mango laden truck coming from North Bengal for checking and recovered the phensidyl bottles from it, said Asabur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu East Police Station.
