Gold prices hiked again

The prices of the precious metal gold will go up again from today.
The decision to hike gold prices by up to Tk 1,225 per bhori (11.664 gm) would be effective from today (Sunday), Bangladesh Jewellers' Association said in a statement yesterday.
A week ago, on Jun 18, jewellers hiked gold prices by Tk 1,225 per bhori after several rises and drops in the past one year.
The new price of one gram 22 carat gold will be Tk 4,145, and 21 carat will be Tk 3,960 while a gram of 18 carat will cost 3,395. The price of  one gram traditional gold has been fixed at Tk 2,360.
