Jhenidah municipality unveils Tk 73 cr budget

Jhenidah municipality authorities announced its annual budget amounting to about Tk 73 crores for the fiscal year 2015-2016 yesterday. Jhendiah municipality mayor and secretary of district Awami League (AL) Saidul Karim Mintu unveiled the budget at Dr K Ahammed Community Centre. The mayor said he did impose any new tax while proposing the budget for a total Tk 72,95,00,701. In the proposed budget, an amount of over Tk 56 crores has been allocated for� development.
