An alleged drug and arms trader sustained bullet injury during a ‘gunfight’ between his cohorts and police at Nabatkati village in Satkhira Sadar upazila on Monday night. Police also seized one shutter gun, one machete, one bullet and 20 bottles of phensidyl from the spot. Emdad Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, said a team of police conducted a drive in the area at about 10pm while a gang of drug smugglers was staying in the area to sell drugs.
