A special gift to Syed Abdul Hadi centring birthday, music career

Syed Abdul Hadi, one of the glittering stars in the sky of country’s music world, is spending 56th year of his music life. Besides, he is going to turn 75 on coming July. To honour his 56-year long music career and to celebrate his birthday in a special manner, eminent entertainment journalist Ovi Moinuddin has taken an initiative. As a part of the initiative, a song has been made centring the singer’s music career and birthday.

DhakaLive has news that the song has been penned down by Omar Faruq, while noted musician Farid Ahmed has done its music arrangement. The recording of the song was completed on Wednesday evening at Farid Ahmed’s studio in the city’s Eskaton area.  
Paying tribute to the veteran singer Syed Abul Hadi, celebrated singer Fahmida Nabi, Druba Guha, Champa Banik, Muhin and Sabrin have lent their vocals to the song titled ‘Tumi Chhuyechho Neelimar Sob Niel, Gaaner Akashe Hoyeccho Shankhachil’.
Syed Abdul Hadi was also present during the recording of the song. The seasoned singer expressed his feelings, “Truly, this is a different feeling. The person who has taken this initiative, he is like my brother, like my son. I am overwhelmed with his love. Besides, I am fascinated to see the way everyone sang the song cordially showing immense respect to me. I do not know how to express my love towards them. Today, I am truly speechless. I found both the lyric and tune of the song wonderful.”
Fahmida Nabi said, “I am feeling wonderful to be part of the song on singer Syed Abul Hadi. I am wishing him in advance happy birthday. I also pay sincere respect to his prolific music career.”
Druba Guha, Champa Banik, Muhin and Sabrin also expressed their enthusiasm over the incident as they all contributed directly to the song. Especially, it is a unique achievement for the young singers in their eyes.
To note, Syed Abul Hadi will participate in the RTV show ‘Tarokalap’ on coming July 1 at 10:40am and ‘Citycell Taroka Kathan’ on Channel i at 12:30pm. Then, the singer will spend some time on his own and attend the dinner and adda at home the following night. l
