The government has arranged an elaborate programme to celebrate the International Public Service Day in a befitting manner through displaying services before the public. Besides, the ministry of industries and different institutions and departments also organised separate programmes marking the day. The programmes included selling sugar at fair price and introducing two standard testing spots in the capital to conduct formalin test on seasonal fruits. President Md Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon issued separate messages marking the day. In his message, the president asked the authorities concerned to ensure legitimate rights of people so that they could get hassle-free desired services.
