Fate of DPL abandoned match likely today

The four-member fact-finding committee, formed by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to resolve the unsettled Dhaka Premier League match of Abahani Limited and Prime Doleshwar, held their first day hearing  with some progress.
They will finish their hearing today and submit their recommendation to the board. Thereafter, the board will take the final decision and decide the fate of the match.
“Our hearing is going on. It is yet to finish. Hopefully we will be able to finish it tomorrow and submit our report to the board at the same day,” said fact-finding committee member Nazmul Karim Tinku after the meeting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium yesterday.
“We are given a terms of condition to settle the problem. As per the condition, we have to report within 72 hours after talking to the players, umpires and other concerned. As part of it, we sat today and called Tamim Iqbal, umpires and match referee. We have heard from them and saw the related documents,” ASM Roquibul Hasan, one of the four members of the committee, told media.
“Our work is to find the facts and then submit it to the board. We will sit tomorrow also,” he said, adding “We are all neutral. The decision will be made neutrally. Base on the facts, we will try to find the facts.”
BCB director Sheikh Sohel, who was not present on the opener and former national player Athar Ali Khan are the other member of the committee.
